So, apparently Michael Jackson died. I didn't hear anything at all about it until today when I saw an add on Photobucket wanting members to post pics for a tribute album. Am I just out of the loop, or has this not had a lot of press?

You're just out of the loop. That's about ALL the news is printing. Farrah Fawcett died too, in case you missed it.

Yep...both died on the same day. Was telling Ash1 the other day ..this must be the year of celebrity deaths...from my memories..so far we have 'Bea Aurther, Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson,...all since about April.

Billy Mays (the Oxi-Clean guy) also died this morning. I haven't heard why though. He was 50.

I just read this this morning and was shocked..even though he only did commercials..he was very well known for them! It was like 'wow!"..
No one knows why yet, they do say the plane he was on that landed in FL blew a tire and landed very hard. He did an interview afterward and mentioned stuff falling on his head (but said "I have a hard head though")...they are looking to have the autopsy done by this afternoon.
