Well, today was the day and the surgery started at about 1pm...and ended about 7:30 or so. Scott was 'under' for a wee bit over 7 hours. Let me tell you, that's a long time and he sure 'looks worse' for the wear. He's swelled all over, even his eyes. He's in pain of course and well..the morphine is doing what it can. I'll let ya know as it goes on how well things are going, but as of now, the doc said the surgery went fine and scott did just fine during it. Till next time!!

Ah, so that's where you've been! I forgot what day it was. Well, hopefully soon the pain will subside and all will be well shortly.

Poor baby. I'm glad it's over with. Please keep us up to date. My schedule is so crazy right now, I'm meeting myself coming and going, which is kinda weird. But I do try to check in here every couple of days.

Is he at home yet?

No..he's not home yet. Doc said he may come home tomorrow..but Scott doesn't know if he's ready..so we'll see. I'll be there in the AM of course, and well, if I bring him home, I do, but if I don't..it'll be monday.

Went to hospital this morning..doc left it up to scott really..but said he could go home today. Scott had bad bad headache and they were concerned about that..and said he could stay another day if he felt better about it. He almost wanted to stay another day..but I did bring him home and let him know after we got home "the reason you have a headache..is lack of tobacco'..so he's in bed, in the dark, still no tobacco..trying to get rid of said headache.


He's lookin' mighty rough! Will keep ya updated.

I don't know whether to say poor Scott or poor Sage. I hope he's not too big a baby. You know how some men are. At least you don't have to run back and forth to the hospital.

Glad to hear he's back home. Hopefully the headache is gone by now.
