Well- my beloved family here at sagewood-

the final straw was put on the camels back. Jason hit kira. slapped her in the face so hard she had bruising on her left eye. I went to cps & victims assistance, judge decided he wasnt a threat but made the order that i can not leave the county and have to reside at our home here.

tomorrow is court where we lawyer up pretty much- he accused me of neglect (you guys know how ridiculous that is since you know me better than that) but cps has decided that my kids have to be in daycare 9-5 monday thru friday despite the fact i organized my school and work so they originally only spent 15 hrs a week in daycare. I'm looking into the divorce again........ I just need your thoughts with me tomorrow. My anxiety is through the roof because my kids are my everything. Another thing to keep me running on all cylinders 24/7.

I miss you ladies and i'll let you know how tomorrow goes.

Yep- got to walk into court just lil ol' me and jason had a lawyer and his "AA Sponsor"- (thought AA usually meant you were sober? ) And of course there were about 5 people with cps.............. yep anxiety hell for Manda. But I was assigned a lawyer and I should get to meet with her beginning of next week. Court was adjourned until the 12th after his 1 hour therapeutic visit on the 11th. Day Care lady is pretty awesome keeps fussing at CPS that she has no idea why they are so hard on me. Told her flat out "There's no way this woman is abusing or neglecting these children. You can talk to them and look at them to see that"
It's slowly but surely working itself out i guess.

CPS can be a pain to deal with. Hopefully they'll back off soon. Hang in there. I know it's tough.

well- my lawyer basically told me after court the 12th that i need to plead guilty to neglect since jason was abusive to me around the kids.... anything he's done basically that i didn't immediately leave him for is considered neglect.............. i don't like this at all. I did not neglect my children....... this is crap. be nice to have a lawyer who has time and actually believes i'm innocent.

Yeah, that sounds like a load of crap to me. If you can, I'd find someone else, or at least get a second opinion.

Really! Ridiculous!

Yeah--- I refuse to plead guilty anyone who knows me and my children know that I am not a neglectful mother. But it's $100 to do a consultation with another lawyer so I will be doing that this week. I was shocked that she told me to plead guilty that I did neglect them.... It won't be happening. I'd sell my soul before someone took my kids from me.
Kira and Emily are both acting out really badly right now. Temper tantrums and all, but I'm proud of myself.... I'm remembering to stay calm and getting through them better than I used to. I'm hanging in there but Jason is allowed to call me again so he has been. And I have to talk to him about the bills, he just keeps saying he wants to come home. I hate this whole mess. I'm being treated like the criminal more than he is.
