For two days now, we've been working on the yard and fence.
WHEW! Scott has worked his butt off getting this fence in. Tony and Frank helped yesterday..and today, Scott and I have been at it since the sun came up! (we were UP long before that!)

It was spring cleaning of the hens day today too. I emptied the coop of everything I could..scrub it down inside and out..painted the outside with a fresh coat..then replaced all the hay..scraped up the 'run' a bit, shoveling dirt here and there where it was needed and replaced they hay in the yard.

I should sleep good tonight!!

The weather is about 80+ here..so what's it looking like where you are! (of course, this weather won't last, but it has for this weekend!)

It's been in the high 70's here. Unfortunately I'm on my 9 day stretch so I haven't been out to enjoy it much. But I have 5 days off coming starting Wed. I'll spend the first one sleeping since I'm pulling a double at work Tuesday.

Plan to go see the son on Thursday. Need to take one day and go see my Granny and do some stuff for her. And I have a gazillion things to do around here.

But the Azaleas and camellias are starting to bloom, the dogwoods are greening up. Spring is coming!

I Saw! Congrats! Looks good!

Well, here it's still winter... sort of. The weather cannot decide what it wants to do. One day it will be sunny and hot enough to melt a couple inches of snow, the next it will be freezing cold and snowy. Then the next it will rain... I swear, it's nuts. The weather also always seems to know my plans. Every time I get to thinking that Ciannon and I should go on a little shopping trip just to get out of the house, it snows and the roads get bad enough that I don't want to go out. I'm starting to go stir crazy. April won't be able to get here soon enough. I can't wait to head down to SC, so I can see everyone and get some sun.

Not much is going on around here. I'm making plans for my garden this year in hopes that I can find the time to do it. I'm trying my best to get my act together in the time management department. I like to play with Ciannon when she's awake; when she's asleep, I find myself resting as well. I keep the house only passably clean, and I haven't been able to do any craft projects since I don't remember when. I did, however, manage to get my living room rearranged. I like it much better because it seems more open and there's a lot more floor space for Ciannon for when she's able to get around on her own.

Speaking of Miss Ciannon, she's growing by leaps and bounds. This morning she rolled over for the first time (unfortunately I was asleep and missed it; she has yet to give an encore), and this afternoon, she got the hang of the new jumper chair I got for her.
