PostSubject: OMG, earthquake!   Wed Jun 23, 2010 6:26 pm

So I'm on the phone with Niel today (he was calling to tell me he was on the way home), when the house starts shaking A LOT. Like, worse than when I've got a full laundry load that's completely off-kilter. It only lasted a couple of seconds, but man it was scary. Niel told me it was probably the wind blowing (seriously!?), but I said I wouldn't be surprised if it was on the news tonight that there was a tremor. Well, he gets home, and friend of his on Facebook has linked this article:

HA! I knew I wasn't crazy! (Well, not about this anyway.)

Whoa! That is scary! Glad it was minor. I'd heard about it but I'm surprised you felt it that far away since it was relatively mild. Leave it to you! LOL

Well, the article I read about it said it was felt as far away as NYC (which is about 4 hours SE of us). I tell you, as scary as what I felt was, I don't want to be any closer!
